Lot 62 Canada #15iii 1859 5c vermilion Beaver on Very Thick Paper, a lovely used example of this variety, with neat duplex cancel, well centered and very fine. Accompanied by a 2018 Greene Foundation certificate. Rsv. Unitrade CV$300, sold for C$230.00 plus 15% buyer’s premium.

Lot 34 Canada 1871 1c yellow orange on thick, soft paper, horizontal strip of five tied to domestic registered cover by three strikes of duplex cancel, paying the 3c letter rate plus 2c registration fee. Mailed from London, Ont. (duplex #6 dated JAN.18.1872) to Clinton (next day receiver on back). A lovely and rare cover, bearing the largest known multiple of this very scarce paper variety, very fine. (Unitrade 35ix).

Lot 373 Canada #CL2 1929 Sioux Lookout to Red Lake Flight Cover, mailed on May 27, with a duplex cancelling the 2c Scroll issue and a c.d.s. tying the CL2 stamp to front of cover. Back has a May 31 Sioux Lookout c.d.s. and a blue green Red Lake c.d.s. dated May 30. Back also has a purple Travel by Air, etc handstamp. Very fine. Unitrade CV$275, sold for $190 plus buyer’s premium.
