Auctions and Events

We are pleased to share our schedule of recent and upcoming auctions and events, which are also announced on our home page.

Our sales are conducted in Canadian dollars, which usually means favourable exchange rates for US and worldwide bidders. Buyers with shipments outside Canada are not charged Canadian federal or provincial taxes.

April 27, 2024 – Floor Sale Our 7th public Floor Sale will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at our office at 1770 Woodward Drive in Ottawa. This in-person only sale has 111 lots of stamps, covers, collections, face value postage, philatelic literature and collecting supplies in 166 cartons. In-person viewing starts at 8:00 a.m. EST and runs until the room is re-set for the start of bidding at 1:00 p.m. Please note this is one hour earlier than previous Floor Sales. No appointment is necessary on sale day. Viewing these lots is essential, as we know there will be many “finds” awaiting the curious viewer. We will also have several 2023 Unitrade Canada Specialized catalogues, some large plastic bins and other Spring cleaning items available for retail sale. The lot list is now available to view and download.
May 4-5, 2024 – ORAPEX The 61st edition of this National-level show offers an exhibition, specialty meetings, social activities and one of the largest dealer bourses in Canada. As a partner-level sponsor of the show, we will be there with a booth and invite our current and new customers to visit us and bring consignments for future auctions.
June 7-8, 2024 – Sale #50
The sale will be online soon.
 General Public Auction of Canada, BNA, British Commonwealth and worldwide stamps and postal history, lots and collections, philatelic literature, ephemera and collecting supplies. The sale will feature:

  • Part Two of the Andrew Ellwood extensive Canadian Precancel collection.
  • Part Three of the WJ McGill collection of Scandinavian stamps, covers and philatelic literature.
  • Part Four of the Gordon Richardson early Manitoba postal history collection.
  • A nice selection of France and French Colonies.
  • Some larger collections of worldwide stamps in Scott International and other large-format albums.
