Lot 937 Lovely Collection of 2-Ring Numerals on Canada Large Queens and Small Queens, all displayed more or less in order of number on four quadrille pages (all scanned online) with a good variety of different numbers on different stamps. We counted 36 Large Queens and 73 Small Queens with a better than average quality of strikes, and most numbers are easily identifiable .Also includes a faked #42 (made out of a #12), some strikes struck through silk, a good potential for different instruments, etc. A very nice lot for the collector who seeks quality strikes and stamps (a few stamps may have faults). Unchecked by us for better numbers. Estimate $500, sold for C$900.00 plus 17% buyer’s premium.
