Lot 1386 China (People’s Republic) Mint and Used Collection in a Stanley Gibbons Devon Album, a lovely and clean collection which starts with People’s Republic of China (mostly used to 1966, then there is a gap, then mint hinged from 1973 to 1978, with many sets and part sets, catalogued at $1,873), followed by the second half of the album, which holds a fairly extensive section of China, Republic of China and Provinces, both mint and used (often both) with hundreds of stamps (these not catalogued). Overall very fine and worthy of a close look. Estimate $750, sold for C$900.00 plus 17% buyer’s premium.
