Lot 674 Newfoundland #9 1857 1sh scarlet vermilion Heraldic Imperforate, unused (no gum), with four clear to large margins, close at bottom right. A lovely stamp with bright, fresh colour, very fine. Accompanied by a 1989 Greene Foundation certificate stating “thin at bottom and stain at lower right”. In our opinion, the thin is extremely small.
