Lot 161 Canada #36i 1889 2c green Small Queen, mint never hinged, from the second Ottawa printing. A fresh example, with large margins, especially at both sides and extremely fine. Accompanied by a 2013 Richard Gratton certificate. Unitrade CV$ 300, sold for $475 plus buyer’s premium.

Lot 283 — Canada two cent green Admiral strip of four, wet printing marginal strip, realized $265

Lot 283Lot 283 Canada #107 1922 2c green Admiral Strip of Four. Wet printing left marginal strip. Top half of pyramid lines in left margin opposite bottom. Also phantom pyramid lines in left margin opposite top two stamps. The pyramid lines are 6.5 mm to the left of the stamp designs which means it must come from one of plates 175, 176, 180, 181. Stamp 2 has a scratch to the left of the 2 in the right numeral tablet. Unused (no gum) and scarce. Estimate $100, sold for $230 plus buyer’s premium.

Lot 490 Canada #150ac 1928 2c green KGV Scroll Imperforate Tête Bêche Block of Twelve, mint, all stamps are never hinged (light hinge mark in selvedge only). Very fine and accompanied by a 2012 Greene Foundation certificate. Unitrade CV$2025, sold for $1100 plus buyer’s premium.
