Lot 292 Canada #108 1918 3c brown Admiral Block of Four, with sheet margin at right showing a centering cross at top. Mint, top two stamps hinged and adjoining selvedge reinforced, bottom two stamps never hinged but diagonal crease on right stamp. Ex. Lum and very fine. Lot 295 Canada #108var 3c brown Admiral Printed on a Very Thin Wove Paper (thinner than the 7c #114iii). The pale shade is partially the result of the printing plate being slightly under-inked. The first example of this paper we have seen, mint never hinged, fine-very fine centering. Estimate $200, sold for $300.00 plus buyer’s premium.
