Lot 727 Collection of sixteen folded letters and covers from Prince Edward County, 1839 to 1879, with items from Wellington (1839 double circle in black), Wellington (1847 double circle in red on cross-border folded letter), Demorestville (latest of only two recorded examples, on a 2c RLS cover), Bloomfield (in red, on a 10c Consort cover to NY State), Millford (two covers), Wellington, Ameliasburg (two covers, one is a registered cover with Bloomfield receiver), Consecon, Melville, Picton (LRD), Picton (a different instrument on a cross-border folded letter), Bongard’s Corners (ERD, on a 6c Small Queen cover to Michigan), Mountain View (ERD, receiver on a 5c Beaver cover from Reach), and Wellington (LRD, 3c SQ cover with partial “T” signet ring obliterator).
