Sale 38 Coming November 22-24, 2021

Welcome to Sparks Auctions’ Sale 38. This is a very exciting sale for us and holds a wide variety of material from just over 90 consignors. We have never had so many consignments on hand at one time, and recommend that if you would like to consign for one of our future sales to contact us as soon as possible to have your material included in a 2022 auction.

Lot 209 Canada #158 1929 50c Dark Blue Bluenose, mint never hinged, quite fresh and perfectly centered, extremely fine. A beautiful example of this lovely and popular engraved stamp. Accompanied by a 2020 Greene Foundation certificate. Rsv. $400. Unitrade $ 700, sold for C$725.00 plus 17% buyer’s premium.

Auction #37 has concluded. Prices Realized can be seen on our Stamp Auction Network listing or downloaded from our site. Unsold lots are be available to purchase at the reserve price plus 17% and applicable taxes.

Lot 30 Canada #26i 1875 5c Deep Olive Green Large Queen, mint with hinged original gum. A lovely stamp with fresh, rich colour and a crisp impression, nicely centered between large even margins, extremely fine. Accompanied by a 2000 Greene Foundation certificate. Ex Jansen, Brigham.
