Lot 1033, 1892-98 Correspondence from Hawaii to Nova Scotia with 31 covers, sold for C$3,744Lot 1033 Correspondence from Hawaii to Nova Scotia, 1892-1898, with 31 covers, all mailed from Honolulu (mostly duplex cancels, some in purple) to Old Bridgeport, Nova Scotia. There is a good variety of frankings, including some Provisional Government overprints, mostly all 5c rates with a few 10c. Includes an 1893 5c stationery cover as well. These are from the “Mitchell Mining Find” and most have faults including rough openings. See scans for a small sample. Estimate $150, sold for C$3,200.00 plus 17% buyer’s premium.
