Lot 107Lot 107 Canada #63 1897 $3 yellow bistre Jubilee, mint never hinged, with sheet selvedge at left. Perfectly centered among four even margins, fresh and extremely fine. Accompanied by a 2014 Greene Foundation certificate. Unitrade footnote states “No. 61 to 65 ($1 to $5) in XF NH condition command very large premiums – copies of 63 to 65 ($3 to $5) were selling for up to $14,000 at auction over the past couple of years”. We believe this remarkable stamp should easily fit that description and valuation. Unitrade CV C$6,000.
