Our next sale is planned for the end of January 2018, with a tentative date of January 30th-31st. It will feature the Louis Sidney Crosby Collection of Prince Edward Island stamps, …proofs and essays. This collection formed the basis of Crosby’s exhibit which won a National Grand Award in 1957. Many of the key and rare stamps of PEI are included, some not seen since 1960.
The 1861 3d blue Queen Victoria, shown above is Perforated 9, with double impression of the entire design. Unused (no gum), it is exceptionally well centered with bright fresh colour and intact perforations.
