Three postcards of Hitler visiting Vimy Memorial in 1940, as well as articles and a French press photo of Georges Vanier at Vimy Dec. 12 1944 checking for Canadian government if memorial had been destroyed as rumors suggested (it was intact). Two of the postcards are used with Luxembourg stamps, the third is unused. Scarce items, very fine. Estimate C$100, sold for C$450 plus buyer’s premium.
