We begin our auction highlights with this stunning block of the six cent red brown Small Queen.

Canada #43 block of thirtyLot 80 Canada #43 1890 6¢ red brown Small Queen block of thirty. A gorgeous and fresh, mint never hinged block (five by six) from centre of left sheet, showing full imprint in left selvedge. We note a particularly strong re-entry in position 24. Very fine as a block and with very light gum disturbance on seven stamps and small reinforcement between two stamps, all mentioned for the record. Worthy of the finest collection. Auction #9 Followup

All three days of auction sessions went smoothly and we would like to thank more than 300 bidders from all over the world for their participation.

We are busy organizing an incredible volume of material, and ask for your patience as we contact all successful bidders with their invoices, and send consignor realizations. We will begin shipping material for which we have received payment within the next week. Local pickup of auction winnings will take place beginning Saturday, March 3rd.

Auction #9 Begins Today

There is still time to place your bids. The sale commences today with Canada & B.N.A, and continues on Wednesday the 22nd and Thursday the 23rd. Bids can be placed via e-mail, telephone, fax and in person. For internet and live bidding, go to Stamp Auction Network. Opening (starting) bids can be seen there as well.

There are different times than usual for some of the sessions. Today we will start at 1:00pm EST, but the sections on Wednesday and Thursday will begin at 10:00am EST to give us time to get through the great number of lots included.
