Lot 178 Canada #10 1857 6d Reddish Purple Consort Imperforate on Thick Soft Paper, a used horizontal pair with very light target cancels. The margins are quite large at both sides, just clear in places at top and bottom, with fresh colour and fine-very fine. Accompanied by 1963 Philatelic Foundation and 2018 PSE certificates. 150 Canada #2 1851 6d Slate Violet Consort Imperforate on Laid Paper, a used horizontal pair with central and single strike of a target cancel. The pair has rich colour, clear vertical laid lines and four large to huge margins, showing part of the next stamp at lower left. There is a very faint trace of a closed tear in margin at left (very difficult to see, even in fluid), not mentioned in the accompanying 2012 Richard Gratton certificate, still a lovely and very fine appearing pair.
