Lot 523 Nova Scotia #1 1853 1d brown red Queen Victoria Imperforate on Blue Paper, used with rare “5 Boston AUG 22” c.d.s. cancel. Four good to large margins, showing part of next stamp at left, very fine. A striking stamp, rarely seen with such a nice cancellation, very fine. Accompanied by a 2016 Greene Foundation certificate. Lot 333, Canada 1954 QEII VF NH block of eight with left margin imperf
Lot 333 Canada #341v 1954 5c bright blue Queen Elizabeth II, imperforate in Left Margin, mint never hinged block of eight, with the two left most stamps having their left margins imperforate. There is a crease in the left sheet margin, from having been folded, likely during the printing or perforating process. Unitrade lists only six singles, a plate block and a block of six, making this new find the largest known multiple. Furthermore, the six singles have no gum and the plate block is hinged, making this one of only two multiples with full intact, never hinged gum. Very fine, rare and for the collector who seeks only the best. Estimate C$2,500.

Lot 812 Peru #210/218 1918 Set of Five Different ABN Die Proofs, identified as being prepared for Scott #s 210 (Bolivar in green), 211 (José Galvez), 212 (Manuel Pardo), 217 (Colon en la universidad de Salamanca) and 218 (Funerales de Atahualpa). All have printer’s inscription beneath the design American Bank Note Company, plus the name of the designs and plate numbers (some crossed-out and replaced by different numbers).
