Lot 625 Canada 1899 2c Map Stamp Special Delivery Cover, presumably mailed from Galt (corner card is from a Galt business) to Toronto, franked with five 2c Map stamps, with “Special Delivery” manuscript at lower left, with stamps cancelled by “Harrisburg & Southampton M.C OCT.20.1899 RPO cancels (plus one free strike) with Toronto same day receiver on back. Vertical crease affecting one stamp, still unusual and scarce. Estimate $150, sold for C$375.00 plus 17% buyer’s premium.
