Certainly one of the nicest examples we’ve seen, for the discerning collector. Accompanied by a 2017 P.S.E. certificate grading it at “XF-Sup 95, Mint OG nh”. Rsv. Lot 144 Canada #63 1897 $3 yellow bistre Jubilee, mint never hinged, with sheet selvedge at left. Perfectly centered among four even margins, fresh and extremely fine. Accompanied by a 2014 Greene Foundation certificate. Unitrade footnote states “No. 61 to 65 ($1 to $5) in XF NH condition command very large premiums—copies of 63 to 65 ($3 to $5) were selling for up to $14,000 at auction over the past couple of years.” We believe this remarkable stamp should easily fit that description and valuation.
