Lot 1253 — Tannu Tuva Group, sold for $3450

The fortunate thing about the auction experience is that under-evaluated items will find the appropriate price level because of competition. That was the case for this lot of the former Soviet republic of Tannu Tuva, which passed our lotters’ scrutiny with a lower estimate than the value ultimately assigned by spirited bidders.
