Lot 753 USA #63/117 Group of Early Used Issues, with #s 63 (exceptional centering, with part c.d.s. cancels), 70a, 72 (with attractive red cancel), 73, 113 (three copies, one has a c.d.s. cancel in bright red ink) and 117. A nice, sound group, fine to very fine or better. Scott CV U$1,370, sold for C$950.00 plus 15% buyer’s premium.

Lot 1068 U.S.A. #4 1875 10c black Washington Imperforate “Reproduction”, unused (no gum, as issued) with intense shade and a crisp impression. Large margins all around, with trivial paper thinning at top (mostly in margin), else a very fine and attractive stamp. Scott CV U$1,050, sold for $625 plus buyer’s premium.
