A remarkable, and very rare block, with bright, fresh colour and large margins. The block shows a tiny scissor cut in the margin between two stamps and has light creases in the margins, still very fine and desirable. Ex. This was made from the original dies from which the two stamps were printed Only a small number were printed before the dies were defaced. A rare opportunity to own die proof impressions of two of the rarest and most expensive stamps ever issued. Very fine. Estimate $1,000, realized $1250.00.
