Elliot Air Service / Red Lake Gold District / MAR.30.1926” plus 1c, 4c and 8c Admirals. Back shows Regina and Winnipeg c.d.s. datestamps plus a small handstamp reading “RCM / AIR FIELD”. Reduced at right and vertical crease away from the stamps, still interesting and fine. Estimate $150, sold for C$300.00 plus 17% buyer’s premium.

Lot 661 Canada #105, 141, 202 Lovely Hand Drawn Saskatchewan Coat of Arms Cover, franked with a 1c Admiral, 1c MacDonald and 5c UPU Conference, mailed Regina on JAN.26.1934 to New York City. The cover is signed by the Regina Postmaster Leo LaBelle and also the President of the Regina Board of Trade. The very colourful cachet drawing is signed “J.T.D”, presumably the addressee “Mr. J. T. Dye”. One of the prettiest of these we have seen, very fine. Estimate C$200.
