Lot 569 Canada #60i 1897 50c deep ultramarine Jubilee, a mint never hinged lower left corner margin single, with bright fresh colour and great centering among four large margins, extremely fine. An impressive gem which is surely one of the finest known, for the most discriminating collector. Unitrade CV$1,800, sold for $5,616 including 17% buyer’s premium.

Lot 575, Canada 1897 three dollar yellow bistre Jubilee, block of four with Winnipeg c.d.s.Lot 575 Canada #63 1897 $3 Yellow Bistre Jubilee, a used block of four with a centrally struck Winnipeg c.d.s. dated OCT.13.1905, with a few other partial strikes. An exceptional block, with its luxuriantly rich colour and lovely centering of all stamps, extremely fine. Surely one of the finest blocks known. The $3 Jubilee is the rarest denomination, with only 13,500 issued.

Accompanied by a 1988 Greene Foundation certificate and a 2022 PSE certificate grading it as “XF-Sup 95”. This is the highest graded $3 Jubilee with no other at this grade. SMQ U$11,400. Unitrade CV$6,000.
