We quote here part of a van Dam description of this block “the condition of this block is incredible – it looks as if it was printed yesterday with very rich very fresh colour. Centering like this is very rarely seen. One stamp has some very light gum disturbance, the 7 others are mint never hinged.” He goes on to explain his cataloguing for the block (included) and puts it at $1,000.
