Lot 1317 — Philatelic Literature group of “Name Sale” catalogues, realized $345

Auction #11 featured the widest selection of philatelic literature we have ever offered. We made the decision to separate many titles into individual lots, so that collectors would have a chance to buy select works rather than having to take home a large carton.

This lot, however, was an example of what we sometimes see when many desirable titles are grouped. It was a great chance to efficiently build or improve a library of “name sales,” and saw a strong price as a a result.
