Includes a cover from Angola and two from Canada. Angola piece very scarce and is a showpiece. A must have to exhibit this crash mail. Typical condition after plane crash and recovery. Lot 166 Canada #51-54 1897 1c to 5c, and 50c Jubilee Used Group. A select group of socked on the nose cds town cancels on one 1c, one 2c, two each of the 3c, 5c and 50c. All except one are dated June to August 1897 and we note St Henri de Montréal, Harriston, Moose Jaw, Brantford and a Nanaimo Type II squared circle. A nice group. Est. $75, sold for $200 plus buyer’s premium.
