A lovely stamp in all respects, accompanied by a 1986 and 2014 Greene Certificate. The ½d perforated is a relatively difficult stamp to find in mint or unused condition, with most recorded examples being poorly centered and/or with faults. The example from the Outaouais Collection possesses a near-perfect centering, a true condition rarity for Canada’s first perforated stamp issue. Unitrade CV$6,000, sold for $4,600 plus 17% buyer’s premium.
