In the first volume to 1945, we noted the 1872-4 Scott 8, 11 and 12 (pen cancel) (CV $680), 25 and 28 (CV $825) as well as Scott 117 (CV $200), 363-5 (CV $202) and C20-6 (CV $263). We did not catalogue the 1923 inflation stamps, nor the officials, and for those we did catalogue in this volume, this amounted to $8,202. The uncatalogued second album is virtually complete from 1949 to 1976, for regular as well as semi-postals. The 1945-9 Allied occupation period is the only section that is not as advanced. A very fine collection. Estimate $1,000, sold for C$1,050.00 plus 17% buyer’s premium.
