These two covers are the earliest recorded air mail flights in the Maritimes. Includes a Truro Nova Scotia SEP.24.1919 1PM cover to Charlottetown with a same day 2PM backstamp (150 covers flown), as well as a Charlottetown cover cancelled at 3PM on SEP.29.1919 with a Truro 4:30PM same day receiver (30 of these were flown). Truro cover is roughly opened at top, still both scarce pioneer covers. Also includes original letter enclosed in cover from Truro to Charlottetown, September 24th, 1919.
