Lot 333Lot 333 Canada #113P 1912 7c Admiral Die Proof, on India on card, in unissued orange colour, measuring 39 x 24 mm. Die number and 23 mm printer’s imprint at bottom. Only two proofs in this colour are recorded, both were in the Christie sale of ABN proof material. Not mentioned in Minuse and Pratt or on Library and Archives web site. There are two diagonal creases and two nicks at top and right, still a major Admiral rarity. From the Hillside Collection. Estimate $500.
