Lot 729, Antigua #63 full pane of 60, Realized $517

Opening at $260, this fresh and scarce full pane of the five shilling value was bid up very close to full catalogue value, eventually selling for a hammer of $450.

Antigua #63 1922 5sh green and red on yellow paper KGV, full pane of 60, from the left side of the sheet and with intact selvedge. Fresh and never hinged with only a bit of separation between stamps 3 and 4, very fine. (SG #60 £510). Catalogue values are for hinged singles only. Scott CV $540, realized $517 including premium.

Lot 901, United States #343-347 imperf pairs, realized $126

All of our U.S.A. attracted multiple bids. The first lot, with only fine-very fine margins and also hinged, nevertheless sold for just under full catalogue with two bidders right behind the top bidder.
