In their promotional literature, almost every auction house talks about their great successes. This exhibit was hammered down at $625, a respectable amount, but we thought the lot would go to at least $1000.

There is a total of 32 complete postal stationery or covers most with "Service" or "Official" overprints along with 19 items on piece including 2¢ Small Queen bisect on piece. The exhibit shows different colours, typefaces, doubled overprints. Very fine. Estimate $1000, realized $718 with buyer’s premium.
