We note #135a dated SP.23.1917 (as is). Generally selected and very fine. Estimate $300.

1905 Add to description: “Back of book include #C1-C6 which are VF NH, VG hr, VF *, F-VF hr, Fine hr, C13 VF NH (CV of $375), C18 F-VF NH and Q11 Fine * (see scan). Also there is a study with notes of 72 of the one cent Franklin of 1873-1881, a card with misperfs and prominent pre-printing crease on pair of #114 but faulty and 3 pages of revenues. Overall condition is better than described in catalogue and is generally fine or better except for a handful of classics.”
